Welcome to Earlville United Parish! It is my joy and privilege to be serving this church. We are a federated church of the United Methodist and United Church of Christ denominations. I am a licensed local pastor in the United Methodist Church. I began my calling in ministry by serving half-time as the chaplain for the Good Neighbor Home in 2002. Then in 2005 I was appointed to also serve half-time at the Manchester United Methodist Church as their associate pastor. I served in those two positions until I was appointed here to the Earlville United Parish in July of 2008.
Prior to being called to professional ministry, I had a career in real estate. I often tell people I went from working with property on earth to property in heaven!
I have been married to my husband, Randy, for 40 years. We are the parents of five children; three sons (one deceased) and two daughters. We are also the proud grandparents of six beautiful grandchildren! (And I have the pictures to prove it, if you'd like to see them!)
I would be happy to visit with you anytime. Feel free to email me or give me call.
Pastor Jill Mack
We are a small church in a small community, but that makes us all family! And in spite of our small size, we have big hearts for God! It's certainly an exciting time to be the church, both here in our local community and in the world. The Bible says,"The fields are ripe for the harvest" and we know that there are many opportunities to impact people for Jesus Christ through our gifts, our service, our worship and our witness. We always strive to be faithful to where God is calling us. Sometimes this has been through tried-and-true traditional means, like Sunday morning worship, Vacation Bible School, and potluck dinners. Other times it is through exciting new mean like our W.O.W. (Worship on Wednesdays) program, expanded mission opportunities, the increasing use of technology, and our new projection system. Like any family, we've had our challenges, but as those who have been touched by God's love and grace, we continue to love each other, serve together and reach out to our brothers and sisters in Jesus' name. It's a great place to learn and grow in your faith. We invite you to "Come grow with us!"
